For 40 years, one of TAMAT’s major axes has been to accompany and support emerging creation by offering scholarships to carry out artistic research that culminates in a collective exhibition and the publication of a catalogue.
This is the culmination of almost 12 months of intense exploration by the beneficiaries of the TAMAT research grant, which for some of them will mark a decisive turning point. The result of in-depth work guided by the entity’s artistic advisors, their reflections are on display to affirm the decompartmentalization of disciplines.
This exhibition marks the end of an unprecedented journey for most of the participants around the multidisciplinary textile practice, for which TAMAT is today an essential place of reflection to better respond to the challenges of popularizing contemporary arts among the general public.
The exhibition offers a striking retrospective of the reflections of committed actors in the art world, whatever their initial prism: sculpture, painting, ceramics, photography, styling, engraving, drawing…
